Review: Grand Hyatt Seattle
Located in the heart of Seattle’s thriving retail and theater district, adjacent to the Washington State
Convention Center, the Grand Hyatt Seattle is steps from Pike Place Market, the Seattle Waterfront and other great attractions like the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass and the Museum of Pop Culture. The hotel is also situated only two blocks from the Monorail, which transports riders directly to the Seattle Center and the iconic Space Needle.
For travelers that value dependability, the Grand Hyatt Seattle offers great customer service, comfortably sized rooms and a perfect location near the shopping district and Seattle's main downtown attractions.
Upon driving up to the hotel, you'll enter the porte-cochere, where bell service and valet will greet you. Parking rates here are high and will run you $55 for valet parking (with in/out privileges) )or $35 for self-parking (no in/out privileges).
The Grand Hyatt does have its own 24-hour fitness center which features a number of cardio machines and weight equipment. There is also a steam room, sauna and whirlpool.
Accommodations:
The hotel features 457 guest rooms, including 64 suites, with all rooms offering a modern look with dark wood furnishings and splashes of color.
All contemporary guest rooms feature sleek, modern furniture and spa-inspired bathrooms with Grand Hyatt Beds, television, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, blackout drapes and a work area desk.
Rooms also feature assorted views of the city; including Puget Sound, Lake Union, and the Olympic and Cascade Mountain Ranges depending on which direction your room is facing. For our most recent stay here, our room offered a city view. For the best views, be sure to request a room facing West toward Elliott Bay.
Summary:
Overall, I would recommend the Grand Hyatt Seattle as it offers everything you would expect from the Grand Hyatt brand and for anyone looking for a central location within downtown Seattle near shopping, dining, and attractions.
The rooms were a perfect size for our family and the customer service from everyone we encountered (valet, bell, housekeeping) was awesome. The hotel is the perfect place to stay for business travelers and families alike when visiting the Emerald City.

There isn't a spa on-site, but guests can access the Elaia Spa at the Hyatt at Olive 8, which is just across the street and around the corner from the Grand Hyatt Seattle. The walk over to sister property Hyatt Olive 8 is about two minutes and the hotel also features a pool and the Hyatt Urbane restaurant and market.

The Grand Hyatt doesn't have its own restaurant, but just off the lobby you'll find several on-site dining options, including Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Blue C Sushi, NYC Deli Market and a Starbucks. You could also head over to the Hyatt Olive 8 or other nearby dining locations.Summary:
