The St. Regis Princeville Resort on the island of Kauai

The St. Regis Princeville Resort is located on Kauai’s north shore above Hanalei Bay, on a lush green sea cliff with one of Hawaii’s most glorious views of the Pacific Ocean and the mystical Namolokama Mountain.

Hawaii's first and only St. Regis, a brand renowned for its opulence and service, opened in late 2009, following a multimillion-dollar transformation of the original 1960's Princeville Hotel, which gives it a closer proximity to the beach than most modern Hawaiian hotels and also stunning mountain views of the landmark peak Makana.

The resort is a part of the Starwood Luxury Privileges Program, as well as a Virtuoso 'Best of the Best' Property, although current rumors/news indicates the hotel is being sold and may end of being taken out of the Marriott/Starwood portfolio.

But as of right now, you can still get amazing value for your next trip so be sure to read more for highlights of the value-added amenities and differences between the two programs below.

St. Regis Princeville Resort highlights include:
  • 252 luxurious rooms, including 41 Prince Junior Suites, seven St.Regis Ocean View Suites, one Signature Bali Hai Suite, one Presidential Suite and one Royal Suite
