Mickey's Tales of Adventure - New Character Dining Option at Disneyland

Are you planning a trip to Disneyland and looking for that extra bit of Disney magic to add to your trip?  If yes, character dining is the perfect way to start your day, as you won't have to worry about waiting in long lines inside the park to see your favorite characters!

A new character dining experience recently debuted at Storyteller's Cafe called Mickey’s Tales of Adventure.

The character dining experience is open for breakfast and brunch with a Farmer’s Market Buffet of breakfast specialties including Mickey waffles, fresh-baked goods, seasonal fruit and a made-to-order omelet station.  Brunch includes all the same breakfast menu choices, plus a rotating menu of daily lunch specials.  The cost ranges from $30-$40 per person, with kids around $15-20 and children under 3 free.

The main attraction of character dining is that you can meet a lot of characters in a short amount of time and save lots of valuable time inside the parks.  Instead of waiting in line inside Disneyland, you'll be able to meet a lot of characters and save valuable time for other attractions.

Here's who you'll see and what you can expect during Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Character Breakfast (of Brunch) at Disney's Grand Californian hotel!

As you enjoy your buffet style meal, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale will make their way around to your table, so be sure to have your camera ready!

I didn't time it, but every thirty minutes or so, the characters will parade through the restaurant and kids can join in on the fun!

Breakfast is available every day and the buffet option is available on Friday-Sunday starting at 11:30 am until 2:00 pm.

Also, another thing to note is that this is the only character meal option that does not include PhotoPass photographers.  This is similar to the previous character meal at Storyteller's Cafe.

If you're planning a trip to Disneyland soon, be sure to take time to experience a character meal - you'll have a blast!
