Review: Oga’s Cantina at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

Visit the Most Notorious Watering Hole in the Galaxy - Oga’s Cantina

When visiting Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort (or Walt Disney World) be sure to plan ahead and book a reservation for Oga’s Cantina - you won't be disappointed!

If you haven't heard of Oga's Cantina, you will for sure see the long lines to get in when visiting Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.

Oga's Cantina is Batuu’s local hangout bar where bounty hunters, smugglers, rogue traders and weary travelers of all ages come to refuel, enjoy music and conduct meetings, all with no questions asked.

This fun experience takes place in an enclosed space with low lighting levels, high activity, and high energy music entertainment courtesy of droid DJ-R-3X, the former Starspeeder 3000 pilot that some fans will recognize from some of their previous adventures on the Star Tours ride.

Once you're inside Oga's Cantina, you'll have 45 minutes to order all of the fun drinks you can.

The fun drinks featured at Oga's Cantina are sourced with ingredients from across the galaxy that are inspired by some of your favorite Star Wars stories.

For example, you can order a Jedi Mind Trick cocktail, the Toniray wine from Alderaan or the Bad Motivator IPA, inspired by the bad motivator that led Luke to purchase R2-D2 instead of a different droid!

During our 45-minute visit, we were able to order two alcoholic drinks each, a Hyperdrive for the kids and sample the snacks offered at Oga's Cantina.  We ordered the Jedi Mind Trick, T18-Skyhopper, Fuzzy Tauntaun and The Outer Rim to get a good sampling of the various alcoholic drinks being offered.

You can also enjoy small bites and snacks as you quench your thirst for intergalactic travel.  During our visit, we tried the Batuu Bits and Happabore Sampler since it was close to lunch time and the kids wanted a small snack.

If you do plan on going - it is good to know that Oga’s Cantina consists mainly of standing room tables only, with very limited seating.  Seating is not guaranteed upon entry and if you have small kids with you, I would highly recommend requesting a table when checking-in, even though it may take longer to get seated.  The whole experience will be a lot better and relaxed if you can take a seat, order snacks and drinks and not have to hold your kids up and share table space with others.

If you're planning on visiting Star Wars Galaxy's Edge anytime soon, be sure to make your reservation now for this popular experience!
