In the near future this program may be encompassed as part of the Marriott International Luxury Brands Program.  Marriott International Luxury Brands represents the following hotel collections: EDITION, The Ritz-Carlton, The Luxury Collection, St. Regis, Bulgari, and W Hotels.

If you're planning a trip to Rome and looking for a luxury hotel to stay at where you can get great value and extra amenities - be sure to check out offers available at two luxury hotels that are part of the Starwood Luxury Privileges Program; the St. Regis Rome and the Westin Excelsior Rome.

Both of these hotels are also Virtuoso 'Best of the Best' Properties.  Read more below for highlights of the value-added amenities and differences between the two programs below at each of the hotels.

The St. Regis Rome
The St. Regis Rome, originally opened in 1894 and designed by Cesar Ritz, is located in the heart of the city within walking distance of famed Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps and the renowned shopping area Via Condotti.  It is also close enough to walk to the Colosseum, Roman Ruins, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona.

The hotel completed a massive $45 million dollar renovation in 2018 and has retaken its place as the best and most luxurious hotel accommodation in Rome.
